Terms of service

Pre-launch note: these terms are a plain-English draft. They are being finalised with counsel before launch.

These terms govern your use of Spleetz, a split-payment gateway operated by Syndew Technology Group (“Spleetz”, “we”). By using Spleetz, you agree to them.

1. The service

Spleetz lets a single transaction be split across multiple cards and payers. Spleetz orchestrates the split; the payment itself is processed by Stripe.

2. Payments and settlement

All card payments are processed and settled through Stripe’s regulated infrastructure. Spleetz is not a bank and does not hold customer funds.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Spleetz for unlawful transactions, or in any way that breaches Stripe’s terms or the applicable card-network rules.

4. Availability

Spleetz is provided on an as-is basis during our pilot. We may change or suspend features as we improve the service.

5. Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, our liability is limited. Nothing here excludes any liability that cannot be excluded by law.

6. Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be posted here with a new “last updated” date.
