How it works
Split across your own cards
Put a single payment across more than one of your own cards, in one checkout.
Spleetz can also split a single payment across more than one of your own cards. It runs as one checkout, settles to the merchant as one transaction, and does not need staff to key each card separately.
How it works
- Start a payment for the full amount.
- Choose to split it across two or more of your own cards, by amount or by share.
- Each card is authorised for its portion.
- Once every portion is authorised, the payment completes and the merchant is paid in full.
When it is useful
- A large booking you would rather spread across cards than put on one.
- A per-card limit that a single payment would exceed.
- Personal and company cards, where part of the spend belongs on each.
- More than one rewards card, when you want to earn across them.
Good to know
- Splitting a payment across your cards is not credit. Nothing is lent or fronted.
- If the payment does not complete, every authorised portion is released back to the original cards.
- The merchant sees one transaction, and only ever the last four digits and card brand.
